What if you were a prosecutor and had evidence that possibly showed the innocence of the defendant but you know if you don’t win the case you’ll likely lose the next election? What would you do?

Soln. The work responsibilities of a prosecutor should not be influenced based on the result of the election. This is not morally correct. As a responsible person, prosecutor should bring upon all the relevant and truthful facts, basis of which defendant should be given justice, Whether prosecutor will win or loose election is very different and immoral parameter to be considered in executing the job of the prosecutor.
