"Astrosurfing" is a process which involves the publicity of specific issues on the internet through the process of surfing the websites. It includes the creation of accounts of many people through facebook to discuss various social issues prevalent in the society.There are various doubtful campaigns which involves deceiving people through use of internet technology for advertising in various types of campaigns like on the use of various drugs in the society. For example there are various sites which link the prevailing and occurrence of various types of disease like autism to the use of vaccines which turns out to be false and deceiving. There are various false issues discussed on the internet surfing related to pseudoscientist activities and false predictions and results about various scientific experiments performed in the laboratory. This falls under the category of deliberate bias.There are chances of setting up of various false portfolios on the internet depicting the misuse of technology and leading to deceiving of different people living in different regions. This happens due to presentation of distorted images of famous personalities leading to misinterpretation in the thinking of common man present in the society. The other example includes the use of animal right campaigns to misguide and misinterpret the thinking and imagination of people related to the use of animals for preparation of clothing shelter which can create violence and protests in different regions of the world.
