1. Amazon is a retailer, while as UPS and FedEx is a transport company.

2. Amazon primarily sells good, while as UPS and FedEx provide transportation services.

3. Amazon acts as a fuel to feed the economy, while as UPS and FedEx provide the mechanism that moves the fuel around.

4. Amazon acts as a blood to the body, while as, UPS and FedEx acts as the heart.

5. Amazon has a higher projected growth rate, while as UPS and FedEx together can't grow quickly enough to keep up with Amazon.

Amazon as with other e-commerce retailers struggle with cross border solutions and continued to be country specific operations, because Amazon to some extent failed to cope up with adverse political conditions in overseas markets, couldn't deflect the impact of international regulations on e-commerce, faced licencing issues across boarders, couldn't tackle currency exchange fluctuations, faced tough cultural and language differences and other inventory issues which forced Amazon o be country specific operations.
