estimate of the mean undergraduate GPA for students admitted to the top graduate schools.


(2) The Dean wants to estimate the mean number of hours worked per week by students. A sample of 49 students
showed a mean of 24 hours with a standard deviation of 4 hours. What is the 95% condence interval for the
average number of hours worked per week by the students?
