Consider the benefits and services that your current (or former) employer offers. More than likely, your employer offers sick leave and vacation time, paid holidays, health care, a retirement plan, and perhaps dental and vision care. So, based on the wide array of benefits and services, what other benefits and services do you believe your employer should offer, that it currently does not, and why? If you were given 30 minutes to make your case to your CEO, what would be the top five benefits and services that the company should include in the overall benefits package (for example, on-site child care or a wellness program), and what is your rationale; that is, how would both you, the employee, and the employer benefit? Recognize that benefits cost money to create and administer; how will the benefits translate into a 'profit center'? Finally, recognize that your employer already offers legally required benefits--don't include those in your discussion.
