Hello!

I am preparing for a lab in which I must carry out serial dilutions of quinine sulfate in a multi-well plate. I start with 200 microlitres of 100 ppm quinine sulfate in well A1. Using a handheld microlitre pipettor and the 100 ppm stock solution, I need to prepare standard stock solutions of quinine sulfate in wells B1-G1 with concentrations 50, 10, 5, 1, 0.5, 0.1 ppm. The final volumes must all be the same. I am completely clueless at this point on how to do this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

Edit: We re not given specified volumes for wells A1-G1, but at the end of the dilutions, all volumes in the wells need to be the same and it must be less than 300 microlitres.

Edit 2: The volumes are what need to be the same, not the concentrations. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi I am im a biochemistry lab and we are doing an experiment titled: PCR Amplification of LeuRS F C Terminal Domain. I am having troubles figuring out the rest of my caluclations. I already did the calculations for the first dilution set, I was wondering how I would do the calculation for the second dilution set. Also I was wondering how I would determine the theoretical values for my data. Is there a specific formula I can use? If...
