Some working parents hires drivers to take their kids to school and to pick them up from school. Some parents are concerned about the safety of their kids, so they install recording camera with GPS in the rear-view mirror of the car without informing the driver about it and they observe the driver when he is with the kids and track his location. Is their action ethically correct? Do they invade the privacy of the driver? Write your opinion.
I don't support the fact that they are invading the driver's privacy. Parents have a natural tendency to worry about the well being of their child no matter how safe the environment is in which the child is kept. In my opinion they are paying the driver for serving them so they have the right to know how sincere he is towards his job and towards them. It would definitely have been a case of invading the privacy had they been keeping an eye on his activities when he was off-duty. But now that he is on-duty, it cannot be considered as unethical. The parents have every right to prioritize their child's safety and to take appropriate measures for the same.
