There are many different types of social support such as emotional, intellectual, physical and psychological etc. available for an individual to grow as a complete human being. All these support starts from the smallest social unit, family. From birth till death, an individual is assisted by the individual’s family in terms of getting food and housing thus getting the physical needs, getting emotional support while in trouble. When the individual goes to school, the individual is supported for the individual’s intellectual capability and social well-being. When an individual is physically affected both the family and the government has some supporting mechanisms to improve the health. There are government support system such as housing, employment, education and healthcare that protects and individual by providing the needs of the individual.
