Answer #1

Equity Theory focuses on an employee's work-compensation relationship or "exchange relationship" as well as that employee's attempt to minimize any sense of unfairness that might result. Sometimes we may feel we are denied equal opportunities at work place for instance i know a friend of mine, who was not given any onsite role in the company as the boss felt a guy would do it better even though she was more capable. This agitated her. She decided to write to the senior VP, and explained about the unfair attitude, This was taken into consideration and later a test was held at office which she cleared at the first rank, hence she was sent for the onsite role in no time. Then once an incident took place where the manager made a pre assumed judgment about a girl only because he was blinded by the assumption about women without any solid proof. The same girl defeated him in the annual sales records to grab the first position.
