Solution:
I am interested in the profession of Sales.
In sales it is necessary that we are negotiating with the customer with the intent of keeping the customer with us for further business as well. We are not looking for a one-off deal and we are interested in retaining as many customers as we can. This is because the cost of retaining customers is lower than gaining new customer and hence obvious preferece towards retaing as many customers as possible.
This is why customer retention is very important for any business and hence while selling we must focus on building a relationship rather than just closing off the deal. This is why we must take relationship management approach to selling and build relationships with customers to get repetative business from them with lower cost to the business.
Hence, this is why we choose relationship management approach to selling.
