There are no indirect theories of moral concern but it is concerned mostly with the preservation of animals. The indirect theories concerning the welfare of the animals include the religious theories, Kantian theories, Cartesian theories, Contractualist theories. The proper treatment of animals is discussed in these theories with emphasis on preservation of the different species of the animals. The religious theories include the explanation that the living creatures like animals and humans have a potential brain and mind with conscious regulated feelings. Humans are superior to animals therefore it is a requirement of humans to use animals for their requirements. This is expedient according to the explanations of Aristotle. Kantian theory believes in the theory of autonomy which relates it with the whose interest depend upon the circumstances in the life of a person. Kantian theory believes that humans have many superior properties as compared to the animals and that animals are subordinate to the human beings. There animals can be utilized for some specific small purposes in life. Cartesian theory believes that animals do not have a sure consciousness as compared to the humans who are conscious and have a mental perception. The animal behavior can be realized in terms of the mechanistic terms which are not realized in life. There is no such mechanistic behavior in the human beings as there is a complex behavior in the human beings which is tough to interpret and analyze. Humans beings have speech which coordinates in the form of communication to represent specific situations and desire utilities in life which are important. There are similarities in the evolutionary scaling and similarities in the physical structure which hold importance for the animals and the behavior of humans in the society. There is a conscious pain behavior in humans. Both humans and animals have neurons for signal transmission to different regions of the brain which helps in the conduction and transmission of pain stimulus to the brain. It was explained in detail by Harrison. Peter Carruthers has explained that the animals do not have a conscious behavior in life. Conscious experience are the higher mental thoughts and behavior which are not related to the unconscious experiences in life. Contractualist theories were given by John Rawl which gives the concept of justice and fairness in the life of people. He believed in designing principles based on self rules. Contractors are self interested and their is no moral standing in animals with lack of consciousness in life. There are many indirect duties in the life of humans including morality. There is another principle of equal consideration of thoughts as given by Singer. One should give equal interest and weight to the moral deliberations to the interests of those which are affected by actions in the society. He defends two arguments given in the text. The first is the Argument from the marginal cases and the second is the Sophisticated Inegalitarian argument. Humans deserve a full moral status whereas animals do not have a full moral status in life. The inegalitarian concept analyzes the important factors like rationality, autonomy and the ability to act and think morally which is absent in the animals and should not be considered. Tom Regan's work "The case for Animal rights"discusses the properties and characteristics of animals which hold some significance as compared to the humans who have lot of priorities and significance in the life of a human being.

What does DFT offer that group theory doesn't?
