I have learnt these terms in marketing and information development sense. Gender is one of the basis for segmenting the markets. Gender identity means how Males or females project themselves within particular culture . It has direct relationships with self exploration. Gender expression attached to the masculinity and femininity related features within a particular society or cultural setting . Gender attraction can be seen as how people of a particular gender say male , female and transgender utilizes personal development techniques to make their relationship with other people within a particular culture.

These understanding helps me to understand sales, advertising and marketing strategies across business world. In a globalized society, marketers work on these valuable bases of categorizing the marketplace. Hence , i understand that people are behaving and expressing themselves differently across the global culture.
