Answer #1

Mill describes morality as human desire to be happy and is the base of utilitarian theory . It states that when the result is happy or good the entire process in moral and ethical. Kant contradicts this theory . He believes that morality is based on some obligation of human beings. He states that moral acts of a person depends on some use they have with the act. As per Mill killing or letting die theory is the desire for people to be alive even when some are to be killed for the sake of others. As the end is happy the process followed is also ethical. As per Kant killing or letting die theory is the obligation to keep some alive and this requires some to die. So both the theories look at this theory in a separate way and as per both the theory is ethical.
