Following are the ethics rules challenged at safe haven laws:

1. Who are morally protected by law? More parents or infants?
2. Is it correct to detach from a connected life?
3. Is justice done with the life who did not commit anything wrong other than just birth?
4. Is it social reform science to give up a baby? Critics call it ethical prejudice.
5. Don’t social norms allow the concise to be bold and morally take up the ownership of the infant?
6. Don’t safe haven laws put the risk to women both socially and economically?
7. Safe haven laws have unjustified time windows to take the drop-off decision after the child is born?

Answer-36: Under Safe haven laws, the rights of fathers are often ignored. In most of the cases, child-care agencies keep looking for unannounced father only. There is no effort or action required to locate the mother and see if calls for any lawful action or moral support too. The safe haven laws assume that it is mutual consent from both set of parents to drop off the baby and there may be cases where fathers are not even aware of such action by mothers. It is injustice to fathers. The rights of fathers often go for toss whenever unmarried couple give birth to the child and assumption is place on the plate that father might not be willing to take the accountability.
