One lovely day, a first-year just found a "perfectly good" sofa abandoned on a street corner. Not wanting to see this lovely furniture go to waste, the first-year proceeds to drag it back to his room. He pulls on the sofa forward and upward with a force of magnitude 438 N at an angle of 20.3° above the horizontal. The sofa has a mass of m = 80 kg. The sofa slides across the pavement which has a coefficient of kinetic friction of µk=0.24. What is the magnitude of the acceleration of the sofa in the x direction?
