What needs to happen for Google to go back into China? Google
seems to have burned its bridges in China and created animosity
with the Chinese
government. What was management and the Board thinking?
First of all, Google needs to develop another search engine that
supports the censoring in speeches. The latest report has disclosed
the fact that Google has started working on a censored search
engine for its customers in China, where freedom of speech and
freedom of the internet are under the censorship of legislators and
governments.
Secondly, the company needs to develop translation and file
management mobile applications for the Chinese market to grab the
attention of the customers.
Thirdly, the company needs to communicate the government of China
to align the aims and objectives of Google team along with the
existing internet regulation in China. It will help the company to
restart its business in China legally.
The management and board of Google initially thought of withdrawing
its business from China because of its censorship on internet use
in 2020. However, the administration has changed its plan after
eight years of the decision aiming to grab the Chinese market
again. The company has started its marketing plan to grab the
market again after 2010. The company is planning to open a research
market in China along with a translation app and file management
application to enter into the Chinese market. Currently, Google has
more than 700 employees in China. The company is currently
expecting to triple its customer within three years of its
business.

In the Chinese culture, they pride themselves in Chinese made products and businesses. For someone to come from another country and try to begin a business or work growing to that market, they can have many of these challenges. Also another big concern is the slowness of change and growth in that...
