A new CEO has come into the company and learned from his management team that the firm has a very high employee turnover rate. Because of the turnover, the firm seems always to be hiring new people, and it takes them a while to get up to speed, reducing productivity. He asks for suggestions on how to reduce the turnover rate, and one manager pitches the idea of giving everyone a $20,000 bonus on their 10th year anniversary, no matter their job in the company.
