No, I would not agree with the statement at all because I believe that critical thinking is related some extent with creative thinking and critical thinking may be required in creative thinking as well. Creative thinking is the unorthodox perception of a situation and that may not be convincing at all initially but the thinker needs to use their skills in this case to.encourahe people on such aspects of thinking. It may also be stated that ideas and innovations may arose from such thinking.

Critical thinking is nothing but using the facts and data regarding any issue and evaluate the same and judge. I personally believe that it is a way of using their judgement based on facts and this is required for the obvious alternative that needs to be used accordingly for any problem that may take place.
