Branch Circuit is a seperate electrical path independent of other electrical paths in the building.

Since branch circuit is the single circuit carrying electrical current from Circuit breakers to the Power receptacles or the electrical outlets.

We have to look for the difference between the feeder circuit and branch circuit then it become more clear.

The seperation between the feeder and branch circuit is a very important part of the design of a control cabinet to find a limit order between feeder and branch circuit.

When we look from the load the Last protection device which protects the load is called the branch Circuit protective device.
