Answer #1

Calculation:

  1. Add the partial pressures:
        Argon (455 mmHg) + Neon (80 mmHg) + Nitrogen (160 mmHg)

  2.       = 695 mmHg.

  3. Convert mmHg to atm:
    Since 1 atm = 760 mmHg, divide the total pressure by 760:
    695 mmHg760 mmHg/atm=0.91 atm.

So, the total pressure is 0.91 atm

Answer:
                The total pressure exerted by the gas mixture is 0.91 atm.
