In other words, it is an electrostatic generator. If a person holds onto the large sphere while the VGG is active, s/he will lose electrons at the same rate as the sphere, until connection is broken. If a conductive metal disk is connected to an active VGG, the disk will lose electrons at the same rate as the sphere. Got it?
