products industry?

make P&G a learning organization?
Answer 2:-
Resources and Capabilities
To be a leader in the personal care products industry is extremely difficult because there are so many competitors across the world. P&G has used multiple resources to become the leader in personal care products. Some of the human resources they have used are employees to help make the products, management teams to manage the employees, and HR to make sure everything they are doing is ethical an sound. Tangible resources that were used by P&G are location, manufacturing, and suppliers. Location has been a big part because they have many locations around the world. The suppliers play a huge role as well because all of their products are at stores that people go in on a daily basis. All of these tangible resources have helped P&G strive in the market and are responsible for where they are at today. Another resource that P&G uses is their Research & Development team and this is more of an intangible resource. This team is responsible for gathering information to make their products better and also creating new products.
P&G is frequently recognized as the industry leader in a wide range of capabilities, including clearest company strategy, brands with purpose, strong business fundamentals and innovative household products and programs(Who we are, 2016). A lot of the success has been branding because consumers will recognize the brand names and go to them, especially if they hear good things about that specific brand. P&G has 21 brands with annual sales of $1 billion to about $10 billion, and 11 brands with sales of $500 million to $1billion
Answer 3:- When Lafley became in charge, the first thing he did was break down the walls between the managers and the employees, so that would make the communication easier
.He also turned some of the emptied space into a leadership-training center.
Under Lafley, P&G had a different “college” to train their employees and every department had its own “university”
They held a weeklong school term once a year when they hired newly promoted managers, so they could learn to be the best.
