Answer #1

The biopsychosocial approach focuses on the interaction between biological, psychological and socio cultural factors responsible for a particular situation, event or feeling. In the case of pain, it would be because of a biological change in the body, for example- tissue destruction. Based on the psychological factors, pain would be percieved differently by different Individuals. It can also be seen that socio cultural factors such as self esteem, cultural etiquettes etc. will also contribute to the same.
