If there is a worm which is used to scan the Internet for attacking an IP address, then it will be more feasible with IPv4 addresses as the IPv$ addresses are much used in the Interent and by the users rather than the IPv6 addresses. IPv6 access and usage are limited and also selective IPv6 addresses are used which will make ti a problem. Once the worm successfully infected the computer, it can infect other computers in the network by transmitting it thorugh any packets, messages, emails and other transmitting mechanisms on the local network, thereby replicating and infecting other computers as well.
