Since we have to rank the 6 items, we will be giving a unique value and we will be arranging these ranks from 1 to 6. This therefore comes under the rule of permutations, where we are arranging n items all taken together, which is given by n!.

Therefore the number of ways we can rank the questionnaire is = 6! = 6 * 5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1 = 720 ways
