4- Copper wire is used with
straight section of 2.00 × 10-6m2
and length of
4.00 m in one section of an electric circuit.
Assuming that this wire is covered by a
current of 2.00 A uniformly distributed "
calculate: (a) the electric field modulus in
inside the wire and (b) the electrical energy that is
transformed into thermal energy in the wire at 30
min.

5- Suppose that a resistor is a
capacitor are connected in series to a battery. The value of the resistor will affect the
of charge that is stored in the capacitor? If
Yes, explain why. If not, what will be the
resistor effect?

6- In the electrical circuit below are
indicated the electromotive forces (emf) of the
batteries as well as their internal resistances.
As can be seen the circuit still contains
two resistors. Calculate (a) the total current at the
circuit indicating the module and direction. (B)
Also calculate the Vab voltage at the terminals
of the largest fem. (Upload the following image)

Answer #1

5. A resistor in series circuit with capacitor charges by passing charges through it. As charging proceeds the potential difference across the capacitor increases until it reaches the value of supply voltage. The resistor resists the flow of current that can charge or discharge the capacitor. The larger the resistor, the slower the charge or discharge rate.
