Answer #1

SOLUTION:-

1. Ans:- Primary pollutant : Nitrogen oxides.

Secondary pollutant: Ozone.

EXPLANATION:- Nitrogen oxides comes from the vehicles and that's why it is more visible in most populated urban areas. The nitrogen oxides enters into the atmosphere and reacts with the sun light and produce molecular oxygen which further mixed with oxygen atom and produce 0zone.

On the other hand, nitrogen oxides mix with water and produce nitric acid.

So, primary pollutant is nitrogen oxides and secondary pollutants are ozone, nitric acid, aldehydes, PANs. Those pollutants are floated in atmosphere and mixed with each other and produce photochemical smog in city in morning and afternoon time.
