Engaging in risk related activities such as drinking more, diet, tobacco use etc., depletes the health condition of an individual where they will reach a stage that no treatment can cure them completely. Individuals loose their lives and ones who do not die live their entire life in pain from health issues. This also effects others around them . These habits increase the chances for spreading of many diseases which will effect the population health status as a result of which the health care costs increase with the growing demand which might not be affordable and hence the whole country suffers due to these unhealthy effects.
