A pizza restaurand chain would like to estimate the number of large pizzas sold on a Saturday based on: the population of the metropolitan area the restaurant is located in (in thousands), whether there is a college located within a one-mile radius of the restaurant  (coded 0 for "No" and 1 for "Yes"), and the price of a large pizza (in dollars). Suppose that the regression model was run on data collected from the last 50 Saturdays and the least squares regression equation was:

What are sales when the population is 20 thousand and price is 15 dollars.

sales= 100+ 4population - 3price + 0.2(Price*population)

Answer #1

sales= 100+ 4*population - 3*price + 0.2*(Price*population)

sales= 100+ 4*20 - 3*15 + 0.2*(15*20)

sales = 195
