Tasks:
Sample of Good Work:
Sally is a 27 year old female, who is in the lifespan developmental period of young adulthood. She is healthy, physically and mentally. Cognitively, her postformal thinking includes the ability to be flexible, logical, and understand contradictions. She could be described as being in K. Werner Schaie’s achieving stage of cognitive development, where she is currently enrolled in a class in a Writer’s Program in order to write her first novel. She has never been much of a talker, but she is a “do-er”. She knows how to get things done, and at work, she is the go-to person when her co-workers and supervisors need someone to get things done. She could be said to have what Robert Sternberg described as tacit knowledge.
Carol is a 27 year old woman who is in lifespan developmental period of young adulthood. She is married recently to a rich and handsome guy. She is independent, and a physically fit woman and is employed in an IT company. She holds the position of the head manager in charge of the main office branch and is well appreciated for her work. She is planning and making her ready for the upcoming challenge to show her skills to become the global manager of the organisation. Cognitively, she is smart, and encompasses all complex logical tasks and deal with them quite smoothly. She can be described as being in the achieving stage as given by K.Werner Schaie since she is already in the race to win the position with her charisma. As per Sternberg's theory of intelligence is concerned, Carol is a practical woman with potential, efficiency and the rage to prove herself judging the situation and act accordingly with the needful energy.
