The ECCS pump in a reactor draws water from the suppression pool, at atmospheric pressure and pumps water through the low-pressure injection system into the reactor pressure vessel 15 m above the suppression pool at a pressure of 4 MPa. The pipe is 8 inches in diameter. The entrance can be considered reentrant. The total length of stainless steel pipe is 45 m, and there are 6 elbows with r/D of 4. A check valve with a loss coefficient K = 32 prevents backflow.

(a) Find the pump head (in meters) required to overcome head losses if the desired flow rate is 2400 L/min.

(b) Find the hydraulic power supplied by the pump to the fluid.

(c) If the pump efficiency is 85%, find the input power necessary for the pump.

can someone show me a clear step by step process to solve this problem.
