The internet is an essential utility like water and electricity. Nearly 30 percent of rural Americans do not have the broadband access. Remember broadband means it is like a fixed one but not like mobile 4-g .

First reason Hasan Minhaj cited was, about the companies providing internet. He said all companies are terrible but COMCAST deserves a special place in hell, because Americans hate it for not providing the reliable internet, instead charging too high and so it has been called as "AMERICANS MOST HATED COMPANY".

Second was that the government is helping them. They are saving the broadband power over the public good, and all of them just fall on only one company the "Federal Communications Commission"(FCC).

and third reason was there is no competition among the service providers because the internet providers are dividing the US states and making themselves more comfortable without any opposition and making people lives worst. If there is any competition then this problem may shutdown.

Therefore these are the three main reasons why the internet in the U.S sucks according to Hasan Minhaj.

Paraguay which is a country in South America and  Venezuela is a country on northern coast of South America has the lowest average internet speeds of about 1.4 Mb/s and 1.8 Mb/s respectively according to the survey conducted by "Akamai Technologies."

The reason why Venezuela has low internet speed was "the Venezuela government artificially keeps the internet speeds low to reduce spending and the government's spending budgets."

Because of its poor infrastructure and country-wide corruption Paraguay experiences the lowest internet connectivity .
