Create a Microwave Timer in LabVIEW with the following interface:

  • Custom Cook Time Entry In Seconds (Numeric Control)
  • Cook time remaining indicator (Numeric Indicator)
  • Start Microwave (Boolean Control)
  • LED Indicating microwave on (LED Indicator)
  • Door open toggle (Boolean Control)
  • Power Level (Numeric Slider)
  • Current Power Level Indicator (Numeric Indicator)
  • Cooking Completed LED
  • Stop Microwave (Boolean Control)

Functionality:

  1. User opens door to microwave and closes door
  2. Cook time is entered
  3. Power Level Selected
  4. Start Microwave Pressed
    1. Cooking LED turns on
    2. Power Level Status updates
  5. Timer counts down in seconds
  6. Complete LED lights up, power level is reset to 0

Microwave will not start unless door has been toggled, user can stop microwave at any time.
