how do i study for diffusion and osmosis in Anatomy and physiology
Osmosis is defined as the movement of solvent molecules from a less concentrated area to a high concentrated area through a semi permeable membrane. Eg. When RBC rich in proteins and salt placed in water it swells. There are 3 types of osmotic solutions:
1.Isotonic-here water molecules move in and out in an equal rate.
2.Hypotonic-Rate of movement of water to inside is more causing it to swell.
3.Hypertonic -Here rate of water movement to outside is more causing the cell to shrink.
Diffusion is the net movement of any substance from its high concentrated area to it's low concentrated area. It depends on concentration gradient.
3 types of diffusion are:
1.simple diffusion
2.osmosis
3.facilitated diffusion
Simple diffusion is the movement of particles from a high concentrated area to a low concentrated area.
Facilitated diffusion is the passive transport of molecules across a biological membrane through transmembrane proteins. Eg.movement of glucose through cell membrane.

how does passive breathing differ from breathing for phonation in regards to anatomy and physiology?
Our anatomy and physiology professor give us protfolio lecture and asked us to write a reflective writing about lab session or any course that i have took before. I don’t now how to do it can any one help me?
Discuss the concepts of diffusion and osmosis. Provide examples of how these two forces interact with the body’s cells
Distinguish between C3, C4, and CAM plants in terms of their basic physiology, anatomy (Hint: do they have specialized structures?), and the type of environment they are typically found.
