1. How is the introduction of the Green Plane a socially responsible act?

The initiative of Green Plane can be treated as an act of social responsibility as the company is now looking to use the durable and environmentally friendly products so that it can control the waste and onboard weight of the plane and at the same time, this will also help the company to provide better customer satisfaction.

When this environment-friendly initiative is chosen by the company, it can also be seen as an act of promoting and protecting the environment. We all know that environmental protection is an integral part of corporate social responsibility. Each business has a carbon footprint resulting from its operations. Any initiative which is taken by the firm to reduce and control the carbon emission must be welcome by the society.

In my opinion a proactive initiative has been taken by the company in the direction of social responsibility and environmental protection can be seen as the highest level of socially responsible act which can be carried out by any organization When a proactive approach is used by the company, the different issues are resolved proactively and with a lesser time by the firm, they entertain the complaints of the customers, have a support plan in order to deal with any unforeseen situation in the future in place of waiting for the events to happen.

3. Why should an organization be socially responsible?

The different reasons behind pursuing social responsibility are stated below:-

Cost savings – By cutting costs in various activities and processes, the company can initiate socially responsible acts. This can be done by having less packaging fewer wastages, less use of energy and so on. All this not only save dollars for the company but also helps in environment protection.

Customer Engagement: When an organization gets involved in CSR activities, customers have a different approach towards it and they can also be involved in various processes. As the firm is trying to induce something good, the involvement of the customers can also be expected quite easily.

Employee engagement: The manpower of the firm are also motivated to perform the activities of CSR
