There are hence law already in place wherein even without prior legal review, the Government may deem it to be necessary to contact Organizations like the Google to avail the data pertaining to such criminal activities or violations of law and other regulations. In fact, even the Organizations that help the Government access the data, primarily reviews the Government requests before granting them a direct access to such a data. Therefore, in a way, such access is routed through an indirect legal review path only. Besides, such Data sharing organizations often decline to even the Governments to share the data when the Organizations feel that the Government is going over the board or being too pushy to avail the access.
