Discuss the pros and cons of the increased use of various forms of technology among children in recent times in terms of the physical, cognitive, and social development of children. At least one pro and one con must be discussed for EACH aspect of development. (Please no handwriting)

Present time is the technological time. We are surrounded by various gadgets. Mobile phones and laptops with internet connection have become a common aspect. Children spend more and more time with their phones. They remain online on social media. They play online video games.

All these causes lack of physical activities. This causes obesity in those children. Their imagination power also reduces. Lesser physical activity causes loss of motor abilities. A social awareness also does not become developed in children because they prefer to remain in virtual world.

Use of technology can be useful also. In present time, workplaces are becoming equipped with more and more technological aspects. A person with more technological knowledge may have some sorts of advantage. Technology also provide a medium to show their creativity.

Technology also teaches children to manage several things simultaneously. There is a need to maintain the balance between use of technological aspects and daily aspects of life. If that balance becomes disturbed then various adverse affects on health parameters can become visible.

We should not become slave of technology. We should maintain a balance between real world and virtual world then only we can live a meaningful life.
