Answer #1

The movie that I would like to describe that deals with psychology, crime and law is Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho. The protagnonist, who is actually the antagonist, would have excessive love towards his mother and would be unable to digest the fact that she got remarried. With this hatred, he would kill his mother and step father as well and goes into a trauma. After he wakes up from the sleep, he would develop some sort of multiple personality disorder wherein he would assume himself as his own mother and acquires her building, which has three levels.

There would be three personalities that he would experience

1. His mother

2. Himself

3. A child who would listen to his mother

All the three characters would be played by himself and if anyone questions it or if anyone reminds that his mother is dead, he would kill them brutally. Obviously, this has to deal with the crime and law. However, it also helps us understand the human psyche. This movie is the adaptation of the novel of the same name and the story writer explores Sigmund Freud's 3 personality traits such as

1.ID

2. Ego

3. Superego

The ID is the child in himself, ego is the rational self and superego refers to the mother character. Also, when he would kill her, he would bring her from the top floor to the group floor. The top floor refers to the superego, which is the higher morality and groundfloor refers to the ID.
