Once you have submitted your own IAT results to the Implicit Association Test (IAT) Assignment Tool, please give your opinion on this discussion board - Was the IAT accurate? Why or Why not? The IAT test appears irrelevant to me. It is not logical. There are many doubtful points. In case of test in respect of weight many points are really irrelevant. There are points regarding weight. It is said that whether the concerned person likes to make relation with fat people or thin people. It is not a logical question. The relationship depends on the behavior of the people. It is found that there are many fat friends of a thin individual. Again, the fat people have many thin friends and relatives. The mentality is the main factor. Again in the test it is said whether one's family members are fat or thin. It is not an important question. The psychology of one individual does not have any relation whether he is fat or thin. There are many thin people who have many complexities of mind. It is believed that fat people suffer from lack of confidence level. They feel inferior to the thin people. They think themselves not beautiful. In the test we do not find the reflection of such psychology.

The test is also operated in the study of personality of my two friends. One friend becomes very confused and can not answer to all the questions. It is not his problem. There are many questions which do not have any right answer. Some questions appear doubtful. Some questuons are not applicable to him.

To a girl this test was also performed. She tried to answer to her best. But the test did not appear valid to her. She finds it absurd. She does not find any valid relationship of the test with one's psychology. She thinks that this test may be partially used for assessment. It may be used for personality test.
