Answer #1

Balanced equation for this reaction is,

2Na3PO4 + 3Ca(OH)2 -------> Ca3(PO4)2 + 6NaOH

2 moles of Na3PO4 gives 1 mole of Ca3PO4.

Molar mass of Na3PO4 = 163.94 g/mol

Moles of Na3PO4 = 1.78/163.94

= 0.0109 moles

Moles of Ca3PO4 formed = 0.0109/2

= 0.00545 moles

Molar mass of Ca3PO4 = 310.174 g/mol

Mass of Ca3PO4 formed = 310.174 g/mol × 0.00545

= 1.69 grams

Answer = 1.69 g
