Answer #1

Answer

Option D

D. The U.S. dollar appreciated relative to the Canadian dollar during this time.

Canadian purchased homes mean the homes were relatively cheap at that time and that is possible if the price of the Canadian dollar is higher relative to the US dollar so the Candian can purchase and have higher demand.
