resistance of heater = 32 ohms

current through the heater= 6 A

power dissipated is in the form of heat which is equals to = i2 R

i= current passing through heater

R= resistance of heater

Power = 62x32 W

= 1152 watts

hence the power dissipated by the heater = 1152 watts
