Im not understanding molar calculations. I don't understand what step to use where and which numbers to use. For example,
how many moles of carbon are in a 1g (5 carat) diamond? I don't know where to start
Ans :
To calculate the number of moles of any element , we divide the given mass of that element by its molar mass.
Here we need to find out the number of moles of carbon in 1 g of diamond .
The molar mass of carbon is 12.0107 g/mol
given mass = 1 g
So putting values :
mol = 1 g / 12.0107 g/mol
= 0.083 mol
Im not understanding molar calculations. I don't understand what step to use where and which numbers...
I don't understand the step by step process to figuring this
out. I don't know how you would calculate percent yield?
Would love answers to all of the questions in part 3!
Thank you!
Practice: Many computer chips are manufactured from silicon, which occurs in nature as SiO2. When SiO2 is heated to melting, it reacts with solid carbon to form liquid silicon and carbon monoxide gas. In an industrial preparation of silicon, 155.8 kg of Sio2 reacts with 78.3...
Why does Thevenin's Theorem work? I understand how to use it but I don't understand why it works. I have been reading my textbook and can follow the procedure, but I want to understand on a deeper level why the author does what they do. So far I know that the steps are 1. Find Vth, the open terminal voltage 2. Find isc, the short circuit current Vth 3. Rth isc But I don't know why these steps work. I...

Please explain how they arrived at these numbers. I don't
understand what to do when there is a cap or a limit on something.
I don't understand which ones have caps and how to apply those to
the problem. I understand what to do once the numbers are in this
table. I just don't understand how to arrive at all these numbers.

Hi, I am requesting your help. I don't understand how to use a break-even and list all costs considered in the break-even analysis and identify if the cost is variable, fixed or mixed. My course related is to ACG 2071 Managerial Accounting. How do I break-even equation and calculations? Here instructions: Give an example from your own experience where you used a break-even analysis. If you have not used the break-even analysis personally, create a situation in which you could...

I don't understand what this questions means?!?! What does it mean there is genetic variation for a specific behavior? I thought it was talking about how a specific gene can affect specific behaviors? Is that not the same with diseases? How a specific deletion or misense can determine Sickle Cell? How is it not the same with behaviors? That doesn't make sense. What does it mean "genetic variation for a specific behavior"? Also what does it mean "present in strains...
