Eyewitness memories plays an important role in the judicial process so it is important that itt should be unbiased and clear because on the basis of his statement a person can be convicted or acquitted. Perception is how a person perceived a certain situation which is possible, that could be different from the reality. It is true that perception influence eyewitness memories but it depends on the eyewitness at what extent. It is possible that eyewitness can interpret or perceives the crime scene fully wrong which can influence his memories ,as a result an innocent person could be convicted. Even in general life a person's perception changes with situation and time .
Therefore an eyewitness memories should not be reckon reliable in judicial process because an eyewitness memories can be influenced from his perceptions.
