I got this this wrong: H0: µ = 6, and the alternative would be H0: µ ≠ 6

**Need assistance with correct answer

There are 12 babies in the study. The claim is whether newborns through 6 months of age and time of adoption (before 12 months of age) have anything to do with attachment issues. *When considering what the hypotheses means is the older the baby is at the time of adoption the more likely the infant will have attachment issues.

I don't understand what I did exactly.

The null and Alternative hypothesis is ,

H0: µ = 6 (null hypothesis)

H1:  µ >6 (Alternative hypothesis)

we state alternative to be we are claiming that babies older than 6 months have attachment issues. Again we would use one sided test.
