can a society safely survive without leadership?
Yes! Implementing the Holacrast management system. Total change of people management mindset required. Would be interesting to see the shambles of a mid to large organisation if Holacrast sytem were to be implement into this structure as Gove / miltary need more of a hierarchial system. Holacrast system can be augmented through supportive Hierarchial support system but I do not believe it will take over from Hierarchial system. A form of Holacrast system more likely to be seen in upper management area of Hierarchial system once structures have people whose personalities are not overtaken by management requiremnents. So by this we can conclude that a society can safely survive without leaders.
why is a government important?
One major reason is that they create rules. Governments provide the parameters for everyday behavior for citizens, protect them from outside interference, and often provide for their well-being and happiness. In the last few centuries, some economists and thinkers have advocated government control over some aspects of the economy. Whatever the reasons, governments first evolved as people discovered that protection was easier if they stayed together in groups and if they all agreed that one (or some) in the group should have more power than others. This recognition is the basis of SOVEREIGNTY, or the right of a group (later a country) to be free of outside interference.
why is socialism dangerous?
True socialism is dangerous. The concept of nation guided by the principle of equality is very theoretically attractive. In practice however, a socialist system is bad for all of society as whole. Socialism inhibits innovation and efficiency, the engines for economic growth, restricts the freedom of the individual, and provides a vehicle for corruption and tyrannical rule. Finally, socialism is costly and unsustainable. Socialism is an extremely complex political ideology that encompasses a very wide range of governing philosophies. It is bad for society because It does not foster the innovation and increased efficiency driven by the competition in the free markets of capitalism, leading to slower economic growth. It is prone to corruption. It requires a large unchecked powerful government with complete control over the state's production, and the distribution of resources to its citizens, providing an avenue for tyrannical rule. It restricts the individual's freedom and quality of life by only providing state products for consumption. It is less equipped to respond to periods of shortfalls and economic crises.
