Performance Objectives- State what skills, knowledge or behaviors should result from the training intervention,written from the larner's perspective. Well-written objectives will include an action verb that identifies the performance. the conditions under which the performance will occur, and the criterion by which the performance will be measred.

Example: Upon completionn of this workshop, Sales Representatives should be able to use the XYZ software to enter the seven jcritical elements of the pipeline action plan, in advance of weekly review meetings with their Sales Manager.

Performance measurement is the process jof collecting, analyzing and/or reporting information regarding the performance of an individual, group, organization, system or component. Definitions of performance measurement tend to be predicated upon an assumption about why the performance is being measured.

Example- A delivery worker's goals would include on-time delivery, low breakage, positive customer interaction and a claen driving record.

types of performance measurement:

1 . traditional approach- it changing the strategic focus of low production costs into qualtiy, flexibility and delivery focus. It includes:

-mainly financila measures

- it dont change over time

- lead to employee frustration

- intecnded for top and misleading

2. no traditonal approach - og may be guied by aspects that make the process more productive and effective, directed to all employee, simple and easy to use, accurate, supporting continuous improvement. It includes:

- based on company strrategy

- mainly on non financial measurement

- lead to employee satisfaction

- intended to all employees
