Answer #1
  • Psyche Revived by Cupid's Kiss
  • The style of this structure is Neoclassicism.
  • It is a sculpture created by Antonio Canova originally approved in 1787 by Colonel John Campbell. It represents the mythological lovers at a moment of elevated feelings, representative of the emerging inclination of Romanticism. It represents the god Cupid in the climax of love and sympathy, rapidly after awakening the lifeless Psyche with a kiss.
  • It implies that having been just awakened, Psyche moves up to her lover, Cupid, as he tenderly holds her by propping her head and breast. I agree with the general evaluations about the sculpture which suggest that true love have the power to bring back a lifeless human back to life with the power of their true love.
  • Equestrian Sculpture of Marcus Aurelius
  • As the name suggests here this sculpture is in the style of Equestrian Statue.
  • It is an ancient Roman sculpture in the Capitoline Hill, Rome in Italy. It is built of bronze and its height is 4.24 m (13.9 ft) tall. Although the emperor mounted on it is Marcus Aurelius, it shows resemblances to the standing statues of Augustus.
  • The theme suggests that it is one of power and divine grandeur—the king is over living-size and elongates his arm in a gesture of adlocutio (used by emperors when addressing their troops). Some of the historians’ state that a defeated enemy was formerly part of the statue. This image was meant to represent the Emperor as triumphant and all-conquering.
  • However, contrary to the public opinions I think that he is shown without any weapons or any armor, Marcus Aurelius here, seems to be a bringer of peace rather than a war hero, for this is how he saw himself and his reign.
  • Law Code Stele of King Hammurabi
  • The style of the sculpture is Stele. It is generally a stone inscribed within it or a wooden slab.
  • It is a well-protected Babylonian code of law of the ancient era of Mesopotamia, recorded back to about 1754 BCE. It is one of the oldest deciphered ancient carving of such a significant length in the world. It states 282 laws of that ancient era, with compared punishments for such crimes, adjusting "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" as assorted based on social layer depending on social status and gender, of slaves versus ruler and noble men as well as man versus woman.
  • Punishments for a person attacking someone from a low class were considerably lighter than if they had attacked someone of similar or greater status.

Please read the article and answer about questions. You and the Law Business and law are inseparable. For B-Money, the two predictably merged when he was negotiat- ing a deal for his tracks. At other times, the merger is unpredictable, like when your business faces an unexpected auto accident, product recall, or government regulation change. In either type of situation, when business owners know the law, they can better protect themselves and sometimes even avoid the problems completely. This chapter...
