You work for Children's Wear, a clothing manufacturer. It is a small business and the garments are made for children (both girls and boys) between the ages of 5 - 10.

You were recently promoted to the position of Advertising Manager. Within the first week at the new position, you meet with the CEO of your company, Mrs. Pinafore.

Mrs. Pinafore entrusts you with the following information. She is going to launch a new line of garments which will hit the market right before Easter. It is the 2019 Easter line.

You are tasked with developing an advertising program.

1. The objective of the advertising would be to increase sales and profits through product differentiation. this will be done by creating awareness about the new product line Easter 2019.

The reason for choosing this objective is because the brand is already reasonably known among consumers. To increase the market share, the company would need to increase its presence in the market through easter clothing. The products will be advertised as different from other brands and we are hoping for more customer switching to the company's products and the Easter holidays and the themed clothing line would be perfect for this goal.

2. Factors which will influence the advertising budget will be types of advertising medium we will be using. It will be a bit expensive during the holiday season which would increase the budget. Moreover, we will be promoting a new clothing line which would also increase the budget in a considerable way. However, the small size of the market will help us in limiting the budget.

3. i) The advertising message will be to try something different this Easter. We will project our products as a breath of fresh air among other brands and will try to create awareness among the consumers for the new and uniquely designed clothing line.

ii) We will be using mostly flyers and banners. The flyers will be circulated in the newspapers and fashion magazines whereas banners will be put in the shopping malls frequented by small families with young children.

iii) We will want our advertising campaign to reach young parents aged between 30-45 who have kids below the age of 10. Both flyers and banners will be targeted at the market with the intention of creating a curiosity around the product line.

iv) For a month prior to holidays, we will be running our advertisements twice a week for each medium. However, before 10 days before holidays, we will be increasing the circulation to every alternate day for both the mediums. We think this will create enough interest among the consumers regarding the products and will result in a great success for the clothing line.
