Given, Vi = 7 L

Vf = 15 L

and, T = 340 K

Since, Workdone in isothermal process is given by: W = nRT ln (Vf/Vi)

Therefore, W = (1 mol)(8.31 J/mol∙K.)(340 K) ln (15/7) = 2153 J
